There is also an extensive library at St. Louis' Museum of the Dog, containing everything you ever wanted to know about our canine friends, not to mention some interesting doggy artifacts.

The captivating Missouri History Museum documents the heritage of the St. Louis area with some excellent exhibits, collections and artifacts. There are personal artifacts from famous St. Louis residents including Miles Davis, Chuck Berry and Tina Turner.
