With an eclectic mix of architecture comprising Byzantine and Romanesque styles, other attractions include a large mosaic collection, a museum and small gift shop. Christ Church Cathedral was constructed in 1867, although it was actually founded many years earlier. Based on a classical 14th-century English Gothic design, Christ Church Cathedral is situated in downtown St. Louis and welcomes visitors of all faiths. Highlights include more than 50 carved figures, large stained-glass windows, Tiffany windows, an iron sculpture, an Italian marble font and many interesting well-preserved features.
